Salary Range : $55,000 - $82,000 depending on experience

Key Responsibilities
- Perform precise dimensional measurements using CMMs, optical comparators, calipers, micrometers, and other metrology equipment.
- Calibrate, maintain, and troubleshoot measurement instruments and equipment to ensure accuracy and reliability.
- Interpret engineering drawings, GD&T specifications, and blueprints to determine measurement requirements and inspection plans.
- Document and report measurement results accurately, including non-conformance issues, and maintain comprehensive records.
- Develop, validate, and optimize CMM programs for automated inspection routines of complex parts.
- Analyze measurement data to identify trends, process variations, and support root cause analysis for quality improvements.
- Ensure compliance with internal quality standards, industry specifications (e.g., ISO, AS9100), and customer requirements.
Recommended Qualifications
Proficiency in operating and programming various metrology equipment (e.g., CMM, optical comparators, calipers, micrometers).Strong ability to read and interpret engineering drawings, including a solid understanding of Geometric Dimensioning and Tolerancing (GD&T).Experience with calibration procedures, measurement uncertainty, and quality standards (e.g., ISO 17025).Aptitude for analyzing measurement data, troubleshooting equipment, and identifying root causes of measurement discrepancies.Relevant technical degree or certification in metrology, quality, or a related engineering field, coupled with manufacturing experience.Bonus Qualifications
Proficiency with CAD software (e.g., SolidWorks, CATIA) for model interpretation and offline programming.Experience operating and programming advanced metrology equipment such as laser trackers, structured light scanners, or vision systems.Demonstrated experience with Statistical Process Control (SPC) application and data analysis.Familiarity with Lean Manufacturing or Six Sigma principles in a quality or metrology context.Job Titles That Should Apply
