This position ensures the delivery of safe, reliable, and customer-focused services while aligning fleet operations with institutional priorities, regulatory compliance, and long-term sustainability goals.

Responsibilities include monitoring performance, enforcing safety protocols, maintaining regulatory compliance, and leading special projects. The manager promotes sound decision-making and accountability while fostering continuous improvement across fleet and asset operations.

This includes implementing processes for accurate vehicle inventory, lifecycle management, utilization reporting, preventive maintenance, and adherence to all UC and State regulatory requirements. A key priority of this role will be to establish UCSF's full alignment with BUS-46 by consolidating oversight of all UCSF vehicles, ensuring accountability, risk management, and operational efficiency.

The final salary and offer components are subject to additional approvals based on UC policy.

Your placement within the salary range is dependent on a number of factors including your work experience and internal equity within this position classification at UCSF. For positions that are represented by a labor union, placement within the salary range will be guided by the rules in the collective bargaining agreement.

The salary range for this position is $87,900 - $187,700 (Annual Rate).
