It consists of 20 labor, delivery, and recovery suites. There are 4 C-section suites available. The unit includes 10 Triage rooms and 51 Mother-Baby Couplet rooms. It also features 14 monitored antepartum rooms. This is an academic teaching service alongside large private OB practices. A high-risk, fast-paced delivery service performs over 500 deliveries each month. There is 24-hour in-house attending OB coverage, anesthesia coverage, and NICU coverage. A perinatal transport program is in place. Expansion is planned for early 2026 to a new facility dedicated to women's health. Certifications needed include BLS, ACLS, and NRP. Preferred qualifications include 3-5 years of perinatal clinical experience in a high-volume delivery service. The S.T.A.B.L.E. Program certification and a Bachelor's Degree in Nursing are also preferred. Advanced Fetal Monitoring Certification is desirable.
