Registered Nurse - Emergency Department

Job Description

This is a 13-week contract position. The Registered Nurse provides leadership in the coordination and delivery of quality compassionate patient care. Utilizing the nursing process of assessment, planning, implementation, and evaluation, the nurse will provide, delegate, supervise, and document care and teaching for patients and their families. Effective communication of pertinent patient and family information to the healthcare team is essential, along with participation in finding solutions for any variances from patient goals and ensuring the implementation of those solutions.

Schedule

Shift : 7 PM - 7 : 30 AM, No Call. Every Other Weekend, must be available for at least one holiday Day and Evening.

Required Experience / Certifications / Licensure

• Minimum 2 years of Emergency Department experience
• Cerner experience required
• Certifications : ACLS and BLS required; PALS and TNCC preferred
• Current licensure by the Michigan State Board of Nursing
• Graduation from an accredited school of nursing is required; Bachelor's degree in Nursing (BSN) is preferred
