A DAY IN THE LIFE AS A CLASS A CDL DELIVERY DRIVER IN FOODSERVICE

As a Route Delivery Driver, you will :

• Safely and efficiently deliver foodservice products to restaurants, and other customers along your assigned route.
• Performs all required safety checks (i.e., pre / post trip) including inspections of tractor / truck and trailer according to Department of Transportation (DOT) regulations; inspects tractor / truck and trailer to insure they meet company safety standards and take appropriate action as needed.
• Reports all safety issues and / or repairs required.
• Follows all DOT regulations and company safe driving guidelines and policies.
• Provide exceptional customer service at each stop - you are the face of RDP!
• Manually unload product safely using a ramp and two-wheeler.
• Verify deliveries thru RDP's Proof of Delivery system that utilizes scanning of all delivered items for each customer and complete route paperwork accurately.
• Represent RDP Foodservice with professionalism, teamwork, and a strong work ethic.
