Position Summary :
We are looking for a strategic, hands-on Director of Creative Services to lead our growing creative team. This role is ideal for a seasoned creative leader with a strong background in social-first marketing who can inspire a team, build scalable processes, and drive high-quality execution across lo-fi and hi-fi content, influencer strategy and execution, and social media management.
You’ll oversee a multidisciplinary team of full-time employees and freelance creatives, ensuring alignment across brand strategy, visual storytelling, and digital performance.
Key Responsibilities :
- Leadership & Team Management
Lead, mentor, and manage a team of full-time creatives and contract contributors (graphic designers, copywriters, strategists, content creators, etc).
Foster a positive and productive creative culture, balancing creative excellence with efficiency and scalability.Implement team workflows, project timelines, and quality standards to ensure consistent delivery across channels for multiple clients.Creative Direction, Execution & DeploymentOversee and lead Indie’s strategic approach to content creation, social media management, influencer marketing and digital community building
Guide the creative development of campaigns across social media, influencer partnerships, and branded content.Review and approve creative concepts, briefs, storyboards, and final assets, ensuring alignment with brand voice and goals.Translate client objectives into compelling, strategic content that resonates across platforms (Instagram, TikTok, YouTube, etc.).Project & Resource ManagementManage creative resourcing across internal and external contributors; build a reliable bench of freelancers and production partners.
Collaborate closely with Activation and Strategy teams to ensure deliverables are on-brand, on-time, and on-budget.Maintain visibility into the creative pipeline, proactively addressing bottlenecks or capacity issues.Innovation & Quality ControlStay ahead of trends in social media, visual content, and influencer culture to inform creative approaches.
Champion experimentation and innovation in both lo-fi (scrappy, native content) and hi-fi (produced, polished) formats.Ensure creative output consistently meets high standards of quality and performance metrics.Shepherd the future visioning of the creative services team and their offerings & expertiseRequirements : Qualifications :
7+ years of experience in a creative leadership role, ideally within a marketing agency.Proven experience overseeing content creation for social platforms, influencer activations, and branded storytelling.Strong understanding of social media platforms and content best practices (especially TikTok, Instagram, YouTube).Deep familiarity with both lo-fi and hi-fi production methods, including working with videographers, photographers, and social-first creators.Exceptional leadership, communication, and organizational skills.Experience managing multiple team membersNice to Have :
Hands-on creative background in design, video, or copywriting.Familiarity with influencer marketing platforms and UGC sourcing tools.Previous experience scaling creative operations at a small or growing agency.Why Join Us?
