About The Position

Job Title : Surgical ICU RN

Shift : Rotating 7A / 7P

Hours per Shift : 12

Experience : Minimum 2 years of current Surgical ICU experience, at least 2 previous travel assignments

License : RN License

Certifications : BLS, ACLS

Must-Have : Strong Surgical ICU experience in a Level II Trauma Center, EPIC proficiency

Description :

The position requires an experienced Surgical ICU RN.

Candidates must possess a valid RN license and BLS certification.

Strong experience in a Level II Trauma Center is essential.

Familiarity with EPIC software is required.

ACLS certification is also necessary.

Current experience in the Surgical ICU is required, specifically with trauma, transplant, vascular, GI, and orthopedic / neuro spine procedures, as well as general surgery.

The patient population includes trauma, transplant, vascular, GI, orthopedic spine, and oncology patients.

Weekend work is required, with a schedule of 3 out of 6 weekends in a 6-week cycle.

Holidays may be required as needed.

Floating to areas of similar skill sets, including ICUs and IMCs, may also be necessary.
