Job description

LocumJobsOnline is working with Lancesoft Inc to find a qualified Urology MD in Vermont!

About The Position

  • Provide comprehensive urologic care to adult and pediatric patients
  • Practice at a single-site on hospital campus alongside a skilled Urologist and Nurse Practitioner
  • Perform surgeries in state-of-the-art operating rooms
  • Manage inpatient consults and urological emergencies (no trauma cases, no robotics)
  • Maintain a Monday-Friday 8 : 00 AM-5 : 00 PM schedule
  • Manage 14-16 patients / day
  • 1 : 4 call schedule ; light on-call rotation (7 days / month)
  • Use Cerner Community Works EMR
  • Support departmental succession planning and continuity of care

Job Requirements

  • Board Certified or Board Eligible in Urology (ABU)
  • Completion of an ACGME- or RCPSC-accredited Urology residency (US / Canada)
  • Clean malpractice history
  • Active Vermont medical license (or ability to obtain before start)
  • Valid DEA & BLS certifications
  • Open to new graduates
  • Will consider physicians with lapsed board certification
