Principal Duties and Responsibilities

  • This position will support the Gulfstream Flight Operations organization to improve efficiency across the company's Gulfstream fleet.
  • Interns will interface with the Flight Operations Supervisor, Directors, Chief Pilots, Dispatch Senior Manager, and VP of Flight Ops to complete projects that enhance processes and efficiencies for all mission-specific Gulfstream fleets.
  • Complete assigned projects and work plans that include flight safety systems, business intelligence / analytics, flight operations, and aeronautical, mechanical, or systems engineering.
  • Support efficient work practices and processes.

Additional Functions

  • Comply with safety rules and procedures.
  • Ensure application of all Gulfstream regulations and policies.
  • Perform other duties as assigned.
  • Education Requirements

  • Currently enrolled in a college aviation program such as pilot training, aircraft dispatch, business aviation, or a related field.
  • Knowledge and understanding of multiple operating systems and Microsoft Office suite is preferred.

  • Enrolled as a full-time student at time of application, actively pursuing a bachelors degree or above.
  • Complete their freshman year by the time the internship starts.
  • Cumulative GPA of 3.0 (without rounding); must be listed on resume.
  • Minimum 12-14 week requirement (summer); 14-16 week requirement (spring and fall).
  • Must be onsite; this is not a remote position.
  • Must have reliable transportation.
