Job Overview

We are seeking a skilled and proactive Sr. Systems Engineer to join our Infrastructure Team. In this role, you will be responsible for designing, deploying, maintaining, and optimizing core IT systems and infrastructure services across on-premises and cloud environments. You’ll play a key role in ensuring high availability, security, and scalability of enterprise systems that support daily business operations. You will work closely with development, operations, and security teams to streamline network operations, and eliminate network related outages.

Key Responsibilities :

• Design, implement, and support Windows / Linux servers, virtualization platforms (e.g., VMware, Hyper-V), and enterprise storage systems.
• Maintain network infrastructure, including firewalls, VPNs, switches, and load balancers (in coordination with networking team).
• Administer Active Directory, DNS / DHCP, Group Policy, and identity / access controls; identity and access management for controlling and auditing user access; policy management for software distribution.
• Support cloud infrastructure (e.g., Azure, AWS), including hybrid integrations.
• Ensure system patching, backup / recovery, and monitoring solutions are in place and effective.
• Automate routine tasks using PowerShell, Python, or other scripting languages.
• Participate in incident response, root cause analysis, and disaster recovery planning.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams on infrastructure upgrades, security initiatives, and deployment projects.
• Maintain technical documentation and standard operating procedures (SOPs).
