Job Summary :

Inspects and tests fire alarm systems to ensure that they function effectively and meet the National Fire Protection Association (NFPA) standards. Adjusts or repairs malfunctioning systems. Responsible for the completion of service requests at various locations.

Job Responsibilities and Requirements :

Primary Responsibilities :

• Schedules fire alarm and fire sprinkler system inspections.
• Perform on-site inspection, testing, troubleshooting, repair and installation of fire suppression systems (e.g. water, clean agents, and chemical).
• Runs testing and inspection on fire alarm and fire sprinkler systems.
• Coordinates with the local fire department to avoid response to testing.
• Completes repairs of the fire alarm system and / or the suppression system.
• Reports results of testing and inspection in line with the requirements of appropriate authorities.
• Works in a constant state of alertness and safe manner.
• Performs other duties as assigned.
