Registered Nurse - Ambulatory Surgery

Summary :

As a skilled and independent Registered Nurse, you will provide both routine and complex care in an ambulatory surgery setting. Your role will involve a comprehensive understanding of various patient needs and the ability to manage clinical situations effectively. You will be responsible for setting long-term goals and developing your skills to adapt to various clinical nursing challenges.

Responsibilities :

• Demonstrate proficiency in OneCHRISTUS Competencies : Leader of Self, Leader of Others, or Leader of Leaders.
• Provide nursing care in accordance with the ANA Scope and Standards, utilizing assessment, diagnosis, planning, intervention, and evaluation for assigned patients.
• Address and manage psychological, emotional, cultural, and social needs of patients and their families.
• Administer medications and treatments following established protocols, while monitoring for side effects and treatment effectiveness.
• Maintain accurate documentation of patient history, symptoms, medications, and care provided.
• Assess the educational needs of patients and families, providing valuable resources and support.
