Summary :
As a skilled and independent Registered Nurse, you will provide both routine and complex care in an ambulatory surgery setting. Your role will involve a comprehensive understanding of various patient needs and the ability to manage clinical situations effectively. You will be responsible for setting long-term goals and developing your skills to adapt to various clinical nursing challenges.
Responsibilities :
- Demonstrate proficiency in OneCHRISTUS Competencies : Leader of Self, Leader of Others, or Leader of Leaders.
- Provide nursing care in accordance with the ANA Scope and Standards, utilizing assessment, diagnosis, planning, intervention, and evaluation for assigned patients.
- Address and manage psychological, emotional, cultural, and social needs of patients and their families.
- Administer medications and treatments following established protocols, while monitoring for side effects and treatment effectiveness.
- Maintain accurate documentation of patient history, symptoms, medications, and care provided.
- Assess the educational needs of patients and families, providing valuable resources and support.
Job Requirements : Education / Skills :
Bachelor of Science Degree in Nursing is preferred.Experience :
At least 1 year of experience in a related nursing specialty is preferred.Licenses, Registrations, or Certifications :
BLS certification is required.RN License in the state of employment or compact is necessary.Work Type : Per Diem As Needed.
