Travel or Local Registered Nurse needed for ASAP start. A minimum of 2+ years of recent hospital bedside experience is required. Candidates must be able to start within 5 weeks. Opportunity for extension upon successful completion of the initial assignment. $750 referral bonus available.

Job Details : \n

  • Work in a 28-bed Emergency Department with patient ratio of 1 : 4

    • \n

  • Three shift options available with varying staff configurations

    • \n

  • Day shift : Work alongside CNC, 3 RNs, Unit Clerk, and Greeter

    • \n

  • Mid shift : Work with 3 RNs and 2 PCTs

    • \n

  • Night shift : Work alongside CNC, 3 RNs, Unit Clerk, and Greeter

    • \n

  • Utilize GE monitors, Lifepaks, Baxter IV pumps, Ranger rapid infuser, and Ranger blood warmer

    • \n

  • Work with Meditech Expanse electronic medical record system

    • \n

  • Required certifications : BLS, ACLS, PALS, TNCC, NIH

    • \n

  • Provide emergency care in Level 3 Trauma Center environment

    • \n

  • Support Accredited Chest Pain Center with Primary PCI services

    • \n

  • Care for stroke patients in Stroke Certified facility

    • \n

  • Total of 18 staff members per 24-hour period across all shifts
