As a Surgical Technologist I in the General Specialty department, you will play a vital role in providing exceptional patient care in the operating room. At Aurora St. Luke's Medical Center, located at 2900 W Oklahoma Ave, Milwaukee, WI 53215, we pride ourselves on our innovative approach to healthcare and seek talented individuals to contribute to our mission.

What We Offer :

  • Competitive compensation within the pay range of $26.10 - $39.15, based on your qualifications and experience.
  • Generous benefits package including paid time off, health and welfare coverage, and retirement plans.
  • Sign-on bonuses : $10,000 for qualified candidates and an additional $2,000 for PM shifts.

Your Responsibilities Include :

  • Ensuring a clean and efficient environment in the operating room, preparing materials, supplies, and equipment for surgical procedures using aseptic techniques.
  • Assisting with patient positioning, transporting, and monitoring equipment throughout surgical procedures.
  • Maintaining a sterile field and anticipating the needs of the surgical team.
  • Serving as a Second Assistant during surgeries when necessary.

    • Qualifications :

  • Completion of an accredited Surgical Technology program.
  • Basic Life Support (BLS) certification required within 6 months of hire.
  • No prior experience is necessary.

    • Physical Requirements :

  • Ability to lift and carry heavy items, as well as perform tasks in a fast-paced environment.
  • Must maintain functional sight and hearing for optimal performance.
  • Compliance with safety protocols, including the use of PPE, is essential.
