Cosmetology Paraprofessional

DESCRIPTION : Southeastern Regional is seeking a paraprofessional with experience preferred in the following trade : Cosmetology POSITION SUMMARY : The vocational paraprofessional works with the shop teacher to ensure that all students can be successful in their program. Paraprofessionals provide students with additional support, assist the shop teacher in maintaining a safe learning environment, and tailoring activities to meet the individual needs of students. PERFORMANCE RESPONSIBILITIES :

Cosmetology license or trade experience.

Strong organizational skills and communication skills.

Able to meet deadlines and carry out initiatives as assigned by the supervisor(s).

Strong technology skills.

Ability to be flexible with job assignments and performance responsibilities. QUALIFICATIONS : . All paraprofessionals must possess a minimum of a high school diploma or equivalent, and must be mature and reliable. In addition, they must have a genuine passion for working with a diverse student population with the goal of helping all students succeed.
