The Nurse Practitioner provides health care services to patients within scope of license, performs physical examinations and diagnostic tests, assessments and screenings, prescribes medications, and instructs patients and family members on medical conditions and treatment. Additionally, the Nurse Practitioner may have an area of specialty practice.
Minimum Requirements :
Licensed in Pennsylvania state
Certification as Physician Assistant through the NCCPA
Must have a minimum of 2 years of primary care PA-C experience - must have experience working in a primary care outpatient clinic setting
Must also have occupational health experience
Maintain collaboration agreements, per state requirements
Current BLS if applicable
TB questionnaire, PPD or chest x-ray if applicable
Current Health certificate (per contract or state regulation)
Must meet all federal, state and local requirements
Must be at least 18 years of age
