Position Overview :
HumanEdge Health is seeking a Travel Operating Room RN for a 12-week assignment. The OR RN will provide perioperative nursing care in a fast-paced surgical environment , supporting a variety of specialties including General Surgery, GYN, Orthopedics (MAKO total joints, Spine), Urology, and Endoscopy.
Schedule :
Shift : Flex schedule – 8 or 10-hour days (06 : 45 – 15 : 15)
Hours / Week : 40
On-Call : Required 1-2 days per week and approximately every 5th weekend (Sat 7a – Mon 06 : 15)
Response Time : Must be within 30–45 minutes of the facility during on-call
Responsibilities :
Provide perioperative care for patients undergoing surgical procedures
Assist in specialty surgeries including Ortho, GYN, General, Urology, Endo
Utilize EPIC Optime for perioperative documentation and case management
Float as needed to support other surgical areas and procedures
Maintain patient safety and ensure adherence to hospital protocols
Requirements : Active RN license
Experience : Prior surgical experience required; specialties in Ortho, GYN, General, Urology, Endoscopy preferred
EPIC Optime proficiency required
Floating flexibility required
BLS and ACLS certifications required
