Core Duties and Responsibilities
Following company SOP's and guidance from the Production Manager
Manage all aspects of Processing Packaging production including daily QC monitoring, Metrc and leaflink inventory adjustments.
Assist with SOP development and training for all packaging techsFamiliarity with industry specific joint labeling and package labeling machineOversight on packaging of all finished flower products including bulk, pre-pack, and jointsAssist with scheduling and managing all processing SKU's for 3rd party testing, physically and electronicallyResponsible for prioritization, completion, and documentation of all tasks performed by the package techsAbility to assist with initial ordering of all equipment and supplies needed and the timely reordering of all consumablesPerform routine inventory auditsEnsure that all flower and byproducts are labeled and stored properly in full compliance with METRC, state regulations, and company SOPsDevelopment and upkeep of preventative maintenance schedules in order to keep the performance and cleanliness of all equipment used in optimal conditionDevelop and perform routine QA / QC checks on SKUs during all phases of productionAbility to collect, analyze, interpret, and present data for review frequentlyAbility to provide effective, communicative leadership to employees and address all concerns in a timely and productive mannerEnsure all staff follows company SOPs and state specific regulationsAssist with developing and managing projects as neededAbility to stay on top of production scheduling while delegating and supporting the packaging techsMaintain exceptional cleanliness and organization in all processing production areasEnsure the proper use of PPE by employees at all timesAssist in establishing initial and ongoing training for employees to ensure an adequate level of understanding regarding guidelines, policies and proceduresPerform employee reviews per company guidelinesAbility to manage, coach, and discipline staff in a professional and respectful mannerSet personal and team goals based on the needs of the business to drive success and to promote inclusionDevelop exceptional visual management tools for use in post-production areasEnvironmental and Physical Demands
Ability to frequently move and / or lift a maximum of 50 poundsAbility to work for long periods of time in varying environmental conditionsAbility to stand, sit, move, kneel, and / or bend for extended time periodsRequirements and Qualifications
Minimum of a high school diploma or general education diplomaMust be at least 21 years old per state regulationSubject to a state required background checkAbility to work weekends, holidays, overtime, and / or on a flexible schedule when neededPrior cannabis extraction experience is preferred but not requiredAbility to multi-task and have effective time management skillsStrong verbal communication skills are preferredAdaptability to changing priorities in order to meet company goalsFollow all state and company regulations regarding cannabis extraction practices
