Full-time (5 days per week) 1+ years internal medicine (IM) experience required Direct IRF care experience a plus, but not required Active and unrestricted Indiana license Active and unrestricted Indiana DEA with prescriptive authorityResponsibilities Perform internal medicine (IM) care in an inpatient rehab setting Manage chronic disease, diagnose illnesses and medical conditions, and implement plan of care Order and interpret lab results Prescribe and monitor medications Consult with physicians and coordinate patient care with other healthcare practitioners Educate patients and their caregivers on coping skills to handle chronic and age-related conditions Build relationships with your patients, patients' family members, and facility staff to facilitate effective treatment delivery Promote healthy lifestyle changesCompensation & Benefits Estimated compensation range of $206,553 to $253,192 annually with no cap on productivity income potential.
