Job descriptionCoordinate scheduling, registration, and live session logistics on digital platforms (e.g., Mighty app, Zoom). Lead live sessions, workshops, and Q&A events as needed, ensuring high-quality delivery and participant engagement. Establish KPIs for program success; monitor participation, engagement, and feedback. Analyze program outcomes and implement improvements based on data and member input. Create monthly analytic reports. Work closely with Community Managers and Content Creators to integrate program updates and behind-the-scenes content into the MySS digital ecosystem. Engage with community members to gather testimonials and success stories. Provide regular updates to team leads and participate in cross-team strategy meetings. Open each live event with a concise welcome and overview. Introduce guest speakers, experts, or co-hosts, and manage transitions smoothly. Keep sessions on schedule, gently steering conversation back on topic as needed. Prompt and moderate live polls, Q&As, and breakout-room activities. Read and respond to participant comments, questions, and chat messages in real time. Encourage quieter members to share, ensuring inclusive participation. Capture key takeaways, resource links, and member feedback for the recap email and community feed. Draft a highlights post and suggest UGC assets. Strong project management and organizational skills. Proven experience in program or project management, preferably within nonprofits or wellness sectors. Experience facilitating events Excellent communication and facilitation abilities. Ability to design culturally sensitive and engaging program content. Proficiency in virtual event platforms (e.g., Zoom, Circle, Mighty app). Data analysis and reporting skills. My Serenity Sanctuary is a 501(c)(3) nonprofit organization that promotes self-care, well-being, and advocacy primarily for Black women and girls. We aim to cultivate a supportive online community that empowers individuals to prioritize their mental health and overall wellness.
Position Summary :
We seek a passionate and creative Volunteer Program Manager to join our team. The ideal candidate will help us with the planning, execution, and evaluation of MySS’s online wellness programs, including the Sistahs Listening Lounge and Mindfulness Meditation Hours. This role requires a compassionate, detail-oriented leader who can design culturally relevant content, coordinate with cross-functional teams, and ensure that our programs deliver measurable impact.
