• Specialty : Pediatric NP (PNP-BC) or a Family NP (FNP -BC). If an FNP, the provider needs to be comfortable with children from infants to age 21
• Practice Setting : Outpatient Pediatrician's office
• Dates of Coverage / Schedule : 3 days per week, 6 hours per day (9 : 30-3 : 30 with a 1 / 2 hour lunch)
• Support Staff : 1 Pediatrician (Dr. R), 1 Medical Assistant currently
• Case Mix : All Pediatric patients up to age 21. Not complicated patients. Well and Sick Visits. The NP will administer vaccines when needed, but MA gets the vaccine ready. Medical Assistant does all of the entering of documents into the system. 15-20 minutes are typically spent per patient
