Job Description

The Navy is seeking highly skilled and dedicated individuals to join its elite Aviation Rescue Swimmers team. As an AIRR, you will be tasked with performing high-risk rescues in extreme environments, utilizing cutting-edge technology and equipment to save lives. This role requires a strong sense of duty, physical fitness, and the ability to work effectively under pressure.

Key Responsibilities :

• Performing rescue operations in various environments, including sea, land, and air;
• Coordinating with pilots to execute rescue missions;
• Utilizing advanced swimming and lifesaving techniques to recover personnel and equipment;
• Providing medical assistance and stabilization during rescue operations;
• Collaborating with other forces to achieve humanitarian and operational objectives.

Required Skills and Qualifications :

As an AIRR, you must meet specific eyesight requirements, pass a rigorous Physical Screening Test (PST), and possess a valid Class 1 Flight Physical. Additionally, you must be a U.S. citizen, eligible for security clearance, and have excellent physical conditioning and swimming skills.
