Position Summary

We are seeking a dynamic, experienced Digital Marketing Manager with agency or enterprise brand experience to lead integrated digital campaigns across owned and paid channels. This role calls for a marketing leader skilled in content strategy, brand storytelling, and customer journey mapping - with a strong understanding of how to drive engagement for national or global B2B / B2C brands.

As the Digital Marketing Manager, you will oversee the Digital Marketing Team, manage the Propelled Brands On Your Behalf (OYB) Social Media and Email Programs, Content Planning, SEO optimization initiatives, and actively engage with Propelled Brands franchisees.

Essential Functions

  • Develop, execute, and manage a comprehensive brand-driven digital strategy that aligns with the companys business objectives across all owned digital channels, websites, and marketing automation funnels from strategic planning through execution.
  • Plan and manage the creation of diverse digital content across all platforms (social media, websites, blogs, email campaigns, etc.) to engage target audiences, promote brand values, and ensure a consistent tone, visual identity, and messaging across all touchpoints.
  • Write and edit high-quality, engaging copy for digital platforms - including blogs, landing pages, email campaigns, and social media - ensuring alignment with brand voice and audience needs to drive engagement and brand affinity.
  • Lead the development and execution of integrated digital marketing campaigns that drive brand awareness, engagement, and lead nurturing across platforms such as Google Ads, LinkedIn, Facebook, and Instagram.
  • Leverage analytics tools (e.g., Google Analytics, HubSpot, SEMrush) to evaluate digital campaign performance using key KPIs, providing actionable insights and strategic recommendations to improve effectiveness.
  • Oversee and optimize content strategy for blogs and websites, using SEO tools and best practices to improve visibility and drive qualified traffic.
  • Partner with Creative and Content teams to develop compelling, brand-aligned assets across blog content, social media posts, videos, website content, and email campaigns that resonate with the target audience.
  • Manage the creation and delivery of monthly digital content calendars across multiple brands, ensuring timelines, campaign goals, and brand consistency are met.
  • Oversee and optimize brand presence across social networks (Facebook, Instagram, Pinterest, YouTube, LinkedIn, TikTok), fostering community engagement and alignment with brand identity and goals.
  • Collaborate with internal social media team members to train and support franchise owners and their staff in executing effective digital marketing and reputation management strategies at the local level.
  • Maintain and improve key digital team processes related to onboarding, store openings and closures, and community management workflows.
  • Build and manage relationships with digital marketing vendors and partners to maximize value, ensure tool effectiveness, and support strategic initiatives.
  • Lead A / B testing, user behavior analysis, and performance reviews to continually improve content effectiveness, audience engagement, and brand-driven conversion performance.
  • Stay current with digital marketing and social media trends, tools, and platforms, and proactively identify and implement innovative strategies to maintain brand leadership in the digital space.
  • Perform additional duties as assigned by the manager.
  • Supervisory Responsibility

    This position has direct supervisory responsibility.

    Work Environment

    This job operates in a professional office environment remotely. This role routinely uses standard office equipment such as computers, smartphones, video conferencing, webinars, phones, photocopiers, printers, filing cabinets, shredding and fax machines.

    Physical Demands

    The physical demands described here are representative of those that must be met by a Team Member to successfully perform the essential functions of this job. While performing the duties of this job, the Team Member is regularly required to walk, talk, see and hear. Must be able to lift up to must be able to lift up to 25 pounds.

    Position Type / Expected Hours of Work

    This is a full-time, Exempt position of at least 40 hours a week, Monday through Friday, between the hours of 7 : 00 a.m. to 6 : 00 p.m. Occasional evening and weekend work may be required as job duties demand.

    Travel

    Travel is primarily during business days, out-of-the-area and overnight travel is expected based on individual job responsibilities. Some of the travel may occur on weekends or be international. Company events may include Summits and the Annual Conventions may also include travel. Travel is expected to be less than 20%.

    Education and Experience

  • Bachelors degree in Marketing, Communications, Digital Marketing, or a related field.
  • 5+ years of progressive experience in digital and brand marketing, with a strong emphasis on strategic planning and content development across owned, earned, and paid channels
  • Proven success in agency environments or enterprise-level organizations, working with national or global consumer-facing brands
  • Demonstrated ability to develop and execute integrated, multi-channel marketing campaigns that drive brand awareness, engagement, and loyalty
  • Experience leading cross-functional teams and collaborating with internal stakeholders, creative agencies, and vendor partners
  • Strong understanding of brand storytelling, content strategy, and customer journey development
  • Hands-on experience with digital marketing tools and platforms, including HubSpot, Google Analytics, SEO / SEM tools, and social media publishing suites
  • Familiarity with managing multi-brand or franchise-based marketing programs is a plus
  • Background in supporting field or localized marketing efforts (e.g., training franchisees or distributed teams in digital strategy)
  • Deep knowledge and hands-on experience with SEO, SEM, content creation, and paid media strategies.
  • Experience with HubSpot, Google Ads, Google Analytics, and other key digital marketing tools.
  • Strong understanding of marketing automation platforms, content management systems (CMS), and CRM systems (e.g., Salesforce).
  • Exceptional knowledge of social media algorithms and best practices for engagement and growth.
  • Leadership and team management skills.
  • Additional Eligibility Qualifications

  • HubSpot Marketing Certification or a similar certification
  • Ability to think creatively and analytically
  • Results-oriented with a strong focus on business outcomes and KPIs
  • Strong proficiency in project management tools (e.g., Asana, Trello, Smartsheet).
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
  • High attention to detail and ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously.
  • Experience managing and growing multiple owned media marketing channels and funnels.

  • Proven track record of growing community, generating engagement, and producing leads organically (portfolio examples will be requested).
  • Deep understanding of the digital media landscape, including current trends and tools.
  • Hands-on experience and comprehensive understanding of the customer journey and conversion funnels.
  • Experience in graphic design, copy content creation, and ad campaigns, adhering to brand guidelines.
  • Competent writer capable of crafting engaging copy.
  • Solid knowledge of SEO, keyword research, and Google Analytics.
  • Highly organized with strong attention to detail in campaign and timeline management.
  • Ability to handle shifting priorities and deadlines, and quickly learn new digital marketing tools.
  • Technical Eligibility Qualifications

  • Robust knowledge of HubSpot or other enterprise-level marketing automation platforms.
  • Robust knowledge of Sprinklr or similar content management and scheduling platforms; certification is a plus (e.g., Brandwatch, Hootsuite, Sprout Social, Salesforce Marketing Cloud Social Studio).
  • Familiarity with key social media platforms, their algorithms, and management suites (e.g., Meta, LinkedIn, Twitter, Pinterest, TikTok).
  • Experience with digital marketing tools such as SEMRush, Google Keywords, Google Analytics, Google Trends, and Google AdWords, or similar tools.
