Recreation / Activity Coordinator

Join our team as a Recreation / Activity Assistant and help us create a vibrant and engaging environment for our residents! In this role, you'll provide daily activities that are appropriate for individual or group skills and / or interests; work collaboratively as a member of an Interdisciplinary Team of staff from health services, dining, and housekeeping departments; invite and direct residents to participate in the daily offerings of activities; assist the Activity Coordinator with resident programs throughout Taylor Community.

Key Responsibilities :

• Assist with developing and implementing engaging activities for Memory Care and Assisted Living residents
• Assist with special events / programs, such as music programs, holiday observations / resident birthday parties, etc. for Memory Care and Assisted Living residents
• Assist residents during meals and perform light housekeeping
• Assist with personal care needs of the residents during activity events
• Facilitate one-on-one interactions and group activities
• Transport residents for off-campus activities using community vehicles
