Location : Greensboro, North Carolina (Zip : 27401) – North Carolina nursing jobs

Assignment Length : 13 weeks

Start Date : January 13, 2026

End Date : April 14, 2026

Setting : Emergency Department, Level II Trauma Center

Shift : Nights, 3x12-hour shifts per week (7 : 00 PM – 7 : 30 AM)

Hours per week : 36

Estimated Weekly Salary Range : $1,820 - $1,870

Weekend / Holiday : 2 weekend shifts or 4 weekend days per 6 weeks; holidays as needed

Patient Population : Adults

Charting System : EPIC (EPIC experience required)

Travelers must live more than 50 miles from facility

Registered Nurse Qualifications

Minimum 2 years of recent Emergency Department RN experience required

Active and unencumbered Registered Nurse (RN) license – North Carolina or compact state

Current certifications : ACLS, BLS, NIHSS (CPI, PALS, TNCC preferred)

EPIC charting experience required

Previous Charge RN and Level II Trauma experience preferred

Must pass EKG exam during compliance (2 attempts allowed)

COVID-19 and Flu vaccines required (medical / religious exemptions considered)

Education verification required; no diplomas from flagged institutions

Background check with no open cases

ER Nurse Responsibilities

Deliver high-quality, compassionate care to patients in a busy Emergency Department

Perform triage, assessment, and treatment for a wide range of emergency and trauma conditions

Manage and monitor patients with trauma, stroke, cardiac, and other acute conditions

Administer medications, IVs, and blood products as needed

Collaborate with interdisciplinary healthcare teams including respiratory therapy, pharmacy, and social services

Document all care accurately in EPIC

Participate in orientation and required compliance modules

Float to other hospital campuses as needed
