JOB DESCRIPTION

Job Description

• Experience as an Expediting Clerk or Material Coordinator is a good fit for this postion
• Expedites, routes, and dispatches material and parts in accordance with production schedules and commitments.
• Reviews master production schedule to determine possible and actual shortages
• Alerts proper coworkers or managers of potential problems.
• Generates progress reports on schedule status
• Keeps records of completed orders.
• Takes appropriate action to expedite materials such as :
• Order damaged
• Material repaired
• In-house material transportation.
• Prepare and complete Reports on :
• Completion dates
• Material changes or substitutions
• Shortages
• Schedule modifications
