Accounting Clerk

Description : Overview :

Our client is seeking a detail-oriented Accounting Clerk to support their accounting department with day-to-day financial transactions and administrative tasks.

Key Responsibilities :

Perform daily accounting activities, including data entry and record keeping.

Process vendor invoices and assist with Accounts Payable functions.

Assist with AR collections.

Reconcile bank statements and credit card transactions.

Maintain accurate financial records and documentation.

Assist in preparing journal entries and month-end closing processes.

Support payroll processing as needed.

Respond to internal and external accounting inquiries in a timely manner.

Assist the accounting team and management with ad hoc projects and reporting.

Qualifications :

Associate’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field (Bachelor’s preferred).

1–3 years of accounting or bookkeeping experience.

Proficiency in Microsoft Excel and accounting software

Strong attention to detail and accuracy.

Excellent organizational and time management skills.

Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
