Key Responsibilities of the Electrophysiology Technician :

Assist physicians during EP studies, ablations, and device implant procedures

Operate EP recording systems and mapping software

Set up, calibrate, and troubleshoot procedural equipment

Prepare patients for procedures, including education and monitoring

Maintain sterile technique and support safe procedural environments

Document case details and maintain accurate patient records

Collaborate with cardiologists, nurses, and procedural staff to ensure optimal workflow

Monitor patient vitals and electrophysiological data throughout procedures

Requirements :

Minimum 2 years of Electrophysiology experience

RCES or CEPS certification preferred

Active Texas licensure (if required)

BLS and ACLS certifications

Proficiency with EP recording systems and cardiac mapping technologies

Strong communication, organizational, and critical-thinking skills
