Sanitation / Janitorial Assistant

Our client wants you to join their team as a Sanitation / Janitorial Assistant due to growth and facility expansion. This is a full-time position, Monday through Friday, with your hours worked being 7 : 30a - 4p. This is a long term, temp to hire opportunity, and our client offers a great benefit package when hired on, including discounts at their store! Position summary : Keep the buildings in clean and orderly condition, which does include cleaning floors, washing walls and glass, and removing rubbish. You will also perform routine maintenance tasks, lawn care / sidewalk maintenance, and in the winter you will clean snow from sidewalks by either shoveling and / or using a snow blower. If you enjoy cleaning and take pride in providing a clean workplace, this job may be for you!

Other experience and qualifications :

• Ability to lift up to 50 pounds
• Ability to bend, twist, climb, balance, stoop, kneel, crouch, and reach
• Ability to withstand temperature variations.
• Hard-toe footwear and weather / temperature-appropriate attire
