Schedule : Monday- Friday
Shift : 6 : 00am-2 : 30pm
Role purpose :
Maintenance Clerk is responsible for daily data entry all work orders and with Parts Department. Documents and posts parts to work orders; stocks items into designated areas and monitors inventory; performs housekeeping activities and other duties as assigned
Knowledge and Experience :
- Two (2) years clerical data entry experience preferably in Transit but will accept automotive, trucking and or any experience related to the field of Fleet Maintenance.
- High School Diploma or GED and valid driver's license
- General computer database knowledge required such as but not limited to, RTA, Hexagon Microsoft Office, or any management software systems with Keolis
- Maintaining and organizing maintenance records, logs, and reports (both electronic and physical). This includes tracking work orders, purchase orders, invoices, and equipment details
- Basic mechanical knowledge required or the ability to learn the parts for the different vehicles required
- Requires the person to be self-directed
- Must be physically agile and be able to lift up to seventy-five (50) pounds
- Must be flexible, 24 / 7 operation

Under supervision, performs a variety of clerical accounting work in support :
Of the accounts payable function using JD Edwards program.Work with Maintenance Manager with daily validation entries into UKGChecks oil analysis program for accuracy and completeness of information provided.Enters vendor invoice information, including quantities, amounts, and dates and provide proper accountAssist with Accounts Payable System D365Maintain all invoices for transmittal and filingMust have strong organizational skillsGood practical skillsCommunication skillsAnalysis and problem-solving skillsFocus on safetyKey Accountabilities :
Ensure all parts have been charged and accounted for on Work OrdersPerform audits of parts and materials with Parts ManagerAssist Parts Department with placing parts in the proper location after the items have been properly receivedAnnually and as needed, physically counts parts / supplies and gives information to Parts ManagerAssist Parts Department with Moping, sweeping floors and dusting counters and computersEnsures that parts / supply bins are orderly. Checks and labels bin boxesAdditional Statements :
