Position : RN – Cardiovascular Operating Room (CVOR)

Shift : Days | 4x10 hrs (06 : 15–16 : 45)

Duration : 13 weeks

Job Details : Ratios : 1 : 1

Call : ~14 call days per 6 weeks (2 days / week + every 3rd weekend)

Float : To Main OR if CVOR volume is low

Weekend : Call every 3rd weekend

Orientation : 24 hours

Scrubs : Blue (provided)

Requirements :

Experience : 2+ years (CVOR required)

Certifications : BLS (ACLS preferred)

Traveler Experience : Not required

Locals : Accepted

Skills : CVOR, cardiac case scrubbing preferred (CABG, AVR, MVR, TAVR, ECMO, Impella, etc.)

Systems Used : Medication : Pyxis

Charting : Epic

Communication : SBAR

Additional Notes :

No RTO after booking (any call-offs may result in cancellation / DNR)

May be assigned to Storm or Hurricane Team during emergencies

Possible consolidation to centralized office mid-contract

Summary :

CVOR RN needed for high-acuity cardiac cases including CABG, valve replacements, ECMO, and TAVR. Requires strong cardiac OR skills, flexibility with call, and adherence to strict attendance policies.
