Diesel Mechanic

Were looking for a motivated and team-oriented Diesel Mechanic to join our dynamic team! You will be expected to mentor and assist other team members, contributing to a supportive and collaborative atmosphere. This role will involve performing major mechanical repairs on company vehicles with minimal supervision to ensure peak performance and safety.

Key Responsibilities :

• Perform major mechanical repairs on company vehicles, ensuring optimal performance and safety.
• Collaborate and work effectively with others in a fast-paced, team-oriented environment.
• Mentor and guide team members, sharing expertise and providing support as needed.

Knowledge, Skills & Competencies :

2-7+ years of hands-on experience in the diesel industry.

Strong diagnostic and testing skills, particularly with drive train, chassis, brakes, and suspension.

Experience with air conditioning systems (Reddot knowledge is a plus).

Expertise in Cummins and International engines.

Transmission knowledge and diagnostics (Allison & Voith experience preferred).

Strong electrical diagnostic skills, including I / O Systems, 12V & 24V systems.

Knowledge of hydraulic and air brake systems.

Welding and fabricating experience is a plus.

CDL drivers license is a plus.

ASE Certifications are a plus.

Must have own tools.

Willingness to be on call 2-3 nights per week and work a flexible schedule.

Job Type :  Full-time

Pay :  $28.00 - $32.00 per hour (Based on experience)
