Job Responsibilities :

This position is responsible for the technical operations support, process engineering, and overall engineering support functions associated with a newly built 300 MMSCFD cryogenic natural gas processing plant in the Delaware Basin. The Sr. Plant Operations Engineer is responsible for the operations and maintenance engineering of the gas plant which includes but is not limited to the following equipment :

• Natural gas and liquids separation
• Condensate stabilization
• Amine treating
• TEG and Mole Sieve dehydration
• Turbine, reciprocating, and screw compression
• Turbine power generation
• Propane refrigeration
• Natural gas cryogenic processing
• CO2 compression, treating, & dehydration
• Valves, instrumentation, meters, pumps, and tanks
• Natural gas and NGL measurement
• Reverse Osmosis water treating
• Plant PLCs, DCS, and safety systems
• PDCs, transformers, breakers, wiring, motors, VFDs, and additional electrical equipment

In addition, the Sr. Plant Operations Engineer will be a key contributor to EOG’s proactive safety culture. This team member will play a key role in the success of the gas plant safety performance, operational reliability, financial performance, and regulatory compliance. The role will regularly interface with the plant operations and maintenance teams, plant management, upstream field operations, midstream and marketing teams, and construction, accounting, regulatory, environmental, and safety departments. The ideal candidate will be knowledgeable in all areas of natural gas processing, with a strong emphasis on good safety, regulatory, and environmental practices. Position is located at EOGs Midland, Texas office. Regular travel to the Janus plant location near Mentone, TX will be required.
