Job Summary
We are seeking a Nurse Practitioner or Physician Assistant to join our Urology team in Longview, TX . The primary focus of this role will be seeing follow-up patients and post-operative patients , helping to ensure continuity of care and excellent patient outcomes. The ideal candidate will bring strong clinical skills, excellent communication, and a patient-centered approach.
Key Responsibilities
Provide outpatient follow-up care for established urology patients
Manage post-operative visits , monitor recovery, and address complications or concerns
Conduct routine assessments for chronic urologic conditions
Order and interpret labs, imaging, and urinalysis
Participate in in-office procedures as appropriate
Educate patients on treatment plans, medications, and long-term management of urologic conditions
Collaborate closely with supervising physicians, nurses, and clinical support staff
Maintain accurate and timely documentation within the EMR system
Qualifications
Current Texas license as a Nurse Practitioner or Physician Assistant
National certification (AANP, ANCC, or NCCPA)
Prior experience in urology, internal medicine, or a surgical subspecialty preferred
Strong communication, clinical assessment, and organizational abilities
Ability to work independently while contributing effectively to a team
Schedule & Compensation
Monday–Friday, 8 : 00 AM – 5 : 00 PM
Competitive salary commensurate with experience
