Travel Nurse RN - Operating Room - $1,963 per week in Columbia, SC

Job Title : Operating Room Registered Nurse Profession : Registered Nurse Specialty : Operating Room Duration : 13 weeks Shift : Day 4x10-Hour Hours per Shift : 10 Experience : Minimum of 2 years in Operating Room nursing License : South Carolina or Multi State / Compact RN license required Certifications : BLS required Must-Have : - 2 years of experience in an Operating Room setting - Ability to float within scope to meet facility needs - On-call availability of one to two days a week and one weekend every five weeks Description : Position available for an Operating Room Registered Nurse. Day shift consists of four 10-hour shifts, from 6 : 30 AM to 5 : 00 PM. The role requires on-call responsibilities, which begin after 5 PM on weekdays. Weekend on-call starts at 7 AM Saturday and lasts until Monday at 7 AM. Travelers will be responsible for accommodating a variety of surgical procedures. Experience with multiple surgical specialties is preferred. A radiation badge is required and must be provided by the agency. The unit serves adult and geriatric populations with a 1 : 1 patient ratio. Local candidates will be considered. Skills in various surgical procedures, including laparoscopic techniques and robotic surgery, are advantageous. The facility supports an interdisciplinary approach with teams for various services including physical therapy, pharmacy, and more. Additional special requirements may apply depending on facility needs. All scheduled time off must be disclosed during the application process.
