As a Security Officer - Aero / Defense Patrol in Colorado Springs, CO, you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Aero / Defense, and more. As a Patrol Unarmed Officer with Allied Universal at a leading aerospace and defense location, you will monitor and patrol assigned areas to help deter security-related incidents and maintain a secure environment. Pay Rate : $23.16 / Hour

Job Schedule :

Day TimeTue 03 : 00 PM - 11 : 00 PM

Fri 07 : 00 AM - 03 : 00 PM

Sat 07 : 00 AM - 03 : 00 PM

Sun 07 : 00 AM - 03 : 00 PM

What You'll Do :

  • Use our proprietary scheduling platform to claim open shifts at client sites
  • Support operations across a range of environments including commercial real estate, healthcare, and education
  • Receive site-specific training and guidance from experienced teams
  • Deliver consistent, professional security presence and customer service
  • Be ready to fill in at short notice when urgent needs arise

Responsibilities :

  • Provide customer service to clients by carrying out security-related procedures, following site-specific policies, and responding appropriately to emergency situations.
  • Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, maintaining professionalism at all times.
  • Conduct regular and random patrols throughout the location and its perimeter to help to deter unauthorized activity and / or suspicious behavior.
  • Monitor access points and observe for any unusual activity, reporting findings as required by site protocols.
  • Communicate clearly and professionally with clients, visitors, and Allied Universal team members regarding security-related matters.
  • Document incidents, observations, and activities in accordance with company and site-specific procedures.

  • Interest in transitioning into full-time roles when available

    • Minimum Requirements :

  • An active Department of Defense Secret Clearance is required.
  • A state, county, or city issued security-related license is preferred.
  • A Security Professional Guard Card is preferred.
  • CPR and / or First Aid certification is preferred.
  • Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
  • Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
  • As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
  • Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
  • As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
  • Licensing requirements are subject to state and / or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
  • A valid driver's license will be required for driving positions only.
