Surgical Physician Assistant OR Opportunity at Augusta Health

Augusta Health is seeking a Surgical Physician Assistant to join our multidisciplinary surgical team. This role focuses exclusively on the operating room, assisting in general surgery, orthopedics, spine, and OBGYN cases. Responsibilities include first assisting in surgeries, patient care from pre-op to post-op discharge, and occasional call coverage.

Key Details :

• Schedule : 4-5 OR days / week; 2-6 procedures per day.
• Call Coverage : Night call once per week (7 PM-7 AM); weekend call every 6-7 weeks (24-hour shifts). Hospital callbacks occur less than 20% of the time.
• Team : Work alongside 3 APPs in a collaborative surgical environment.
• Experience : 1 year of surgical experience preferred.
