Manager of It Governance, Policy, and Standards

The Information Technology department within Facilities and Business Operations is seeking to hire a Manager of IT Governance, Policy, and Standards. This leadership role, reporting to the Deputy CIO, will oversee the development and management of UCF's enterprise IT governance framework, ensuring alignment with institutional strategy, operational needs, and compliance requirements.
Classification Title : Manager, Information Technology III
Responsibilities :
Enterprise IT Governance and Strategy
- Develop and oversee the structure and operational processes for IT governance committees and working groups, including defining charters, membership roles, decision-making authority, and escalation protocols.
- Facilitate governance meetings, ensuring accurate documentation of discussions, decisions, and follow-up actions.
- Translate university and IT strategic goals into actionable governance priorities and roadmaps.
- Monitor adherence to the governance framework and regularly report its effectiveness to the Deputy CIO and executive leadership.

Minimum Qualifications : Bachelor's degree and 6 years of relevant experience; or High School Diploma (or equivalent) and 10 years of relevant experience, or an equivalent combination of education and experience pursuant to Fla. Stat. 112.219(6).
Preferred Qualifications :
Special Instructions to the Applicants : The anticipated salary range for this position is $89,076 to $105,000. The final salary will be determined based on the candidate's qualifications, experience, and internal equity considerations.
Applicant must be authorized to work for any U.S. employer, as sponsorship is not available for this position.
Position requires a valid class E driver's license. The position may involve driving to various locations on and off campus to conduct University business.
