Job descriptionBachelor's in Accounting, Finance, etc. preferred. Experience in construction accounting, project accounting, or cost accounting preferred. Strong understanding of job costing, WIP schedules, change orders, and construction billing. Proficiency in accounting software and advanced Excel skills. Highly organized, proactive, and comfortable working in a collaborative environment. Ability to communicate clearly with both financial and non-financial stakeholders. Manage project costing, including budget tracking, cost allocation, and variance analysis. Support monthly close activities and prepare accurate financial reports for active and completed projects. Review and process job cost entries, subcontractor invoices, change orders, and billing documentation. Partner with project managers to maintain up-to-date financial forecasts and identify cost-saving opportunities. Reconcile accounts, maintain audit-ready records, and ensure compliance with internal policies. Assist with process improvements as the company continues to scale.
