As a Business Systems Analyst, you will be responsible for evaluating organizations’ business processes and systems. You'll collaborate with stakeholders to gather requirements, analyze data, and create detailed documentation outlining system specifications. You will also play a crucial role in facilitating communication between business users and IT teams to ensure that technology solutions align with organizational goals.

What you will do :

  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams in an Agile environment to gather and document business requirements to solve problems related to technology needs
  • Analyze and translate business needs into clear and concise user stories, ensuring alignment with team goals
  • Facilitate communication between business stakeholders and development teams to ensure a shared understanding of technology / business requirements
  • Work closely with Quality Assurance and Engineers to review story requirements and validate system functionality
  • Collect and analyze data as it pertains to the organization and IT users
  • Analyze business operations based on IT data
  • Identify risks in current and proposed IT systems and recommend solutions
  • Conduct impact analyses, and create reports that drive business decisions
  • Review system enhancements with IT stakeholders

What you will bring :

  • 2+ years of previous experience as a Business Systems Analyst or equivalent technology industry background
  • Strong analytical skills with ability to gather, analyze and interpret complex data and business requirements
  • Adept at identifying and solving business problems through innovative and practical solutions
  • Understanding of complex multi-platform applications including databases and systems to bridge the gap between business needs and technical solutions
  • Effective documentation skills to create comprehensive reports, manuals, workflows, and specifications
  • Proven experience in Agile methodologies and working in cross-functional teams
  • Experience with project management tools such as Jira, Confluence and SharePoint

    • What will set you apart :

  • Bachelor’s degree in a related field preferred
  • Experience with Agile principles preferred
  • Prior production support and troubleshooting preferred
  • Experience as a QA or Developer preferred
  • Effective communication with stakeholders to understand and convey technical information in a clear manner
  • Proficient in collecting, documenting, and managing system requirements from stakeholders

    • Base Salary Range

    63,100.00 - $89,125.00

    The salary range above shows the typical minimum to maximum base salary range for this position in the location listed. Non-sales positions have the opportunity to participate in a bonus program. Sales positions are eligible for sales incentives, and in some instances a bonus plan, whereby total compensation may far exceed base salary depending on individual performance. Actual compensation offered may vary from posted hiring range based upon geographic location, work experience, education, licensure requirements and / or skill level and will be finalized at the time of offer.
