Job descriptionHigh school degree or equivalent required. Six months plus food processing and / or production experience preferred. Must have the ability to become certified forklift operator. Works independently with attention to detail Strong organizational, prioritization, and problem-solving skills Strong English communication skills Strong basic math skills Ability to multitask Push up to 300 lbs., pull 500 lbs. with aid, lift / carry 50 lbs. frequently.
Job Opportunity : Packaging Operator
Aclient of ours in Tualatin is looking to add Packaging Operators to their team.
Permanent hire chance post-contract hours
Responsibilities :
- Operate conveyor, accumulator, capper, labeler, and printer
- Perform sanitation and rework duties as needed
- Conduct package and case integrity tests to ensure quality.
- Maintain sanitary environment at all times
- Ensure supplies are stock up and in appropriate designated location
- Keep accurate, detailed and neatly written documentation.
- Ensure food safety and quality protocols are followed.
- Enforce Safety and GMP regulations.
- Responsible for providing coverage in the absence of other Packaging Operators.
- Ensure Redzone downtime codes are accurate.
- Other duties as assigned.
Requirements :
Schedule : Sunday to Tuesday, e / o Saturday, 6PM - 6 : 30AM
Pay : $19.50 / hour
