About The Position
Assist the Physical Therapist with implementing individualized treatment plans.
Provide therapeutic exercises, gait training, balance activities, and functional mobility training.
Administer treatment modalities such as ultrasound, e-stim, heat / cold packs, and traction (as permitted).
Observe and document patient progress, responses to treatment, and any changes in condition.
Educate patients and families on therapy goals, home exercise programs, and safety techniques.
Maintain cleanliness and readiness of therapy equipment and treatment areas.
Ensure accurate and timely documentation in accordance with facility and regulatory standards.
Communicate effectively with the Physical Therapist, nursing staff, and interdisciplinary teams.

Job Requirements
Associate Degree from an accredited Physical Therapist Assistant program.
Active state PTA license (or eligibility).
Current CPR / BLS certification .
Strong communication and patient-care skills.
Experience in SNF, outpatient, home health, acute care, or hospital settings (as required).
