Job Title : Registered Nurse
Location : Temple, TX
Shift : Full-Time - Nights, (3) 12-hour shifts
Department : Long-Term Acute Care / ICU
Long Term Acute Care : Vent Weaning, Pulmonary Disease, Cardiopulmonary Disease, Complex Wound Care, Neuromuscular Diseases, GI Disease, Postoperative Complications, Kidney Disease (including dialysis), Post-Trauma.
Patient Ratio : For ICU 2-3 to 1 nurse, Med-Surg 4-5 to 1 nurse with support of non-licensed staff and unit clerk
Average length of stay for patients : 25 days
Number of beds : 25 beds
Wound care team
24-hour respiratory therapy team

Job Summary
As a Registered Nurse, oversee patient care using a professional practice model. Responsibilities include patient assessment, recognizing health issues, creating care plans, and assessing patient responses. Secure patient travel. Know about patient needs in healthcare. Help patients and prevent issues. Follow the Texas Nursing Practice Act and delegate tasks based on condition and team competencies.
