Travel Physical Therapist (PT) - $1,945 per week in San Antonio, TX

Job Title : Physical Therapist Profession : PT Specialty : Therapy Duration : 13 weeks Shift : Day Hours per Shift : 8 : 00 AM - 5 : 00 PM Experience : Minimum of 1 year License : Required Certifications : BLS Must-Have : Basic knowledge of inpatient rehab Ability to flex and work as part of a team Initiative and knowledge of inpatient rehab Description : The unit consists of 32 beds and has approximately 35 therapists and 50 nurses. During the day shift, the team includes 8 occupational therapists, 8 physical therapists, 1 rehab aide, 7 nurses, and 3 patient care technicians. There are no night shift staff. Patient treatment ratios allow for 5 to 6 hours of treatment per day. The unit uses equipment such as H200 / L300 and BURTEMR. Candidates without the required skills will not be considered for the role. Preferred candidates will have previous experience in inpatient rehab. Staff members are expected to work a minimum of 2 weekends per 4-week period. Typical procedures performed include activities of daily living (ADLs) and evaluations. Candidates should be outgoing, flexible, and knowledgeable. Unit guidelines and policies are available upon request. Weekends and on-call shifts are required as mentioned above.
