Accounting Manager

Vaco has partnered with a local family-owned company in the farming industry that is seeking an Accounting Manager to take full ownership of their accounting functions. This is a great opportunity for a highly motivated, hands-on professional who values a close-knit work environment. The ideal candidate will be comfortable managing all accounting activities independently with expertise in QuickBooks Online.

Job Title : Accounting Manager

Location : Scottsdale, AZ (onsite 4 days per week)

Compensation : $120k - $130k (no benefits)

Responsibilities Include :

Manage full accounting cycle for multiple entities (S Corps, partnerships, nonprofits, LLCs)

Oversee intercompany accounting, reconcile transactions, and prepare tax-related documentation

Build detailed financial reports and analysis to inform leadership decisions

Create and document processes, workflows, and internal controls

Serve as a trusted advisor on financial matters

Ad hoc and special projects as assigned (wear many hats and provide broad accounting / finance support)

Qualifications :

BS in Accounting, Finance or related field required

Deep expertise with multi-entity accounting, intercompany transactions, and tax-flow through

Familiarity with S Corps, partnerships, nonprofits, and personal accounting / returns

Experience with rural / agriculture businesses or multi-generational family offices

Ability to work onsite at the Scottsdale office
