Job Summary :

The Cosmetology Instructor duties and responsibilities include, but are not limited to, classroom and lab instruction of cosmetology skills, providing professional leadership in the development, implementation and evaluation of curriculum, and participating in professional development activities. Assigned classes may occur during the day and / or evening. This position is an exempt faculty appointment reporting to LSCPA’s Business and Industrial Technology Department

Minimum Qualifications :

• Associate degree from a regionally accredited college or university
• Three years of recent experience working and / or teaching in the Cosmetology field (may be substituted for a portion of educational requirement)
• TDLR Cosmetology license (may possibly be substituted for a portion of educational requirement)

Preferred Qualifications :

Salary : Commensurate

Work Hours :

Full time hours, Monday – Friday, with possibility of some evenings, depending upon class schedule
