Eighteen (18) temporary full-time positions with Handy Andy Snow Removal at 140 G.H. Daniels Boulevard, Gypsum, CO 81637. Dates of hire : approximately 12 / 15 / 2025 to 4 / 30 / 2026. Shovel snow; spread salt, sand and Magnesium chloride; operate snow removal machinery. $19.75 / hr., $29.63 / hr. OT. 35 hrs / week, up to 5 hours OT. Schedule varies based on conditions. Wages paid bi-weekly and will equal or exceed the prevailing wage or the federal, state or local minimum wage. Employer will use a single workweek as its standard for computing wages due. Workers will report to employer's location in Gypsum CO and employer will provide transportation to work sites and back. Work sites will be primarily in Eagle County but may occasionally be in Mesa County. No education or experience required. On-the-job training will be provided by the employer. Option of shared housing in Gypsum may be available for approximately $400 per month for a shared room. Employer will make all deductions from paychecks required by law. Employer will reimburse any H-2B workers by check in the first workweek for all visa, visa processing, border crossing, and other related fees, including those mandated by the government, incurred by H-2B workers that are not primarily for the benefit of the worker. If the worker completes 50% of employer will reimburse the worker by check for transportation and subsistence from the place of recruitment to the place of work. Upon completion of the work contract or where the worker is dismissed earlier, employer will provide or pay by check for worker's reasonable costs of return transportation and subsistence back home or to the place the worker originally departed to work, except where the worker will not return due to subsequent employment with another employer. The amount of transportation payment or reimbursement will be equal to the most economical and reasonable common carrier for the distances involved. Daily subsistence will be provided at a rate of $16.28 per day during travel to a maximum of $68.00 per day with receipts. Employer guarantees to offer work for hours equal to at least three-fourths of the workdays in each 12-week period of the total employment period. Employer will provide workers at no charge or deposit charge all tools, supplies, and equipment required to perform the job. Applicants must be authorized to work in the U.S. We e-verify all hires.
