Job Title : Data Modeler

Location : 100% Remote

Job Type : Temporary / Contract (2 Months)

Start Date & Schedule : Mon-Friday, flexible hours

Compensation : $42.00 - 50.00 / Per Hour

We are seeking a highly organized Data Modeler to support a critical data migration and governance initiative. This role will focus on consolidating metadata, mapping source systems to KNK & Business Central, and delivering clear documentation that ensures long-term data integrity across our publishing lifecycle.

Key Responsibilities of the Data Modeler :

• Collaborate closely with IT, Data Analysts, and departmental stakeholders to understand business processes and data requirements.
• Review existing metadata spreadsheets, KNK documentation, and early mapping work.
• Interpret data fields, terminology, and structures from multiple ERP and legacy systems.
• Map source system elements into KNK / Business Central tables.
• Develop clean, consistent documentation to guide data migration, system configuration, and governance.
• Review mappings and definitions with stakeholders.
• Identify gaps, conflicts, inconsistencies, and required transformations.
• Deliver the following by the end of the engagement :

Publishing Data Dictionary with standardized entity and field definitions.
