Overview

We are seeking a passionate and skilled Dog Groomer to join our team. As a Groomer, you will be responsible for providing high-quality grooming services to pets while ensuring their safety and comfort. You will play a vital role in enhancing the well-being of our furry clients and building strong relationships with their owners. We are a fun, high-energy boutique experience and want like-minded dog lovers to join us! Our Groomers are paid 50% commission and keep 100% of their tips. We are in a wonderful area full of dog owners and have a loyal clientele. You will have a lot of opportunity!!!

Responsibilities

• Perform grooming services including bathing, brushing, trimming, and nail clipping for various sizes and breeds of dogs (and cats if trained).
• Assess the condition of pets’ coats and skin to determine appropriate grooming techniques.
• Provide excellent customer service by communicating with pet owners about their pets’ needs and grooming options. Our groomers communicate directly with owners both before and after the groom.
• Maintain a clean and organized grooming area, ensuring all tools and equipment are sanitized after each use.
• Shared responsibility for the cleanliness of the entire bathing and grooming areas.
• Handle pets safely using proper animal restraint techniques to ensure their comfort during grooming sessions - leads, kennels, loops etc.
• Monitor pets for any signs of health issues or discomfort and communicate findings to pet owners or veterinary staff when necessary.
• Stay updated on the latest grooming trends, techniques, and products to provide the best service possible.
