Title of Role : Front-end Engineer

Location : Palo Alto, CA (Onsite, 5 days a week)

Company Stage of Funding : Series B

Office Type : Onsite

Salary : $225k - $300k + equity

Their mission is to empower engineers by building best-in-class AI programming solutions that streamline workflows, improve productivity, and make coding more joyful. What You Will Do

  • Design, build, and optimize intuitive front-end experiences for cutting-edge AI developer products.
  • Collaborate closely with product, design, and backend teams to bring features from concept to production.
  • Focus on integrated development environments (IDEs) such as VS Code and JetBrains products.
  • Take ownership of UI / UX challenges in a technical domain where performance and developer experience are critical.
  • Contribute to architectural decisions and help shape the long-term direction of the product.

Ideal Candidate Background

  • 3-8 years of professional software development experience, ideally at the senior or tech-lead level.
  • Strong expertise in JavaScript, TypeScript, and React (or comparable front-end frameworks).
  • Experience working on developer-focused products, IDEs, or productivity tools.
  • Demonstrated ability to thrive in a startup or high-velocity engineering environment.
  • Strong technical foundation, with a degree in Computer Science or a related field.

    • Preferred

  • Experience with Kotlin or Java.
  • Previous work in developer tools, AI / ML-driven platforms, or productivity software.
  • Evidence of growth and commitment within past roles (looking for builders rather than frequent job changers).
